Relationships

How Are We Related?

Type a name in each box and pick from the list. The relationship is worked out step by step from the family tree.

Start typing and matching names drop down: one letter shows everyone whose name has it, more letters narrow the list. Accents and capitals don’t matter, and maiden names and other spellings count. Tap the ▾ arrow to see everyone. Only people in the family record can be picked. A step is flagged when the person on it is graded Likely or Possible, and the result then says the relationship is not fully proven. The words are neutral (“aunt or uncle”) because the record does not note sex. Living family members appear by name only.
